On November 7, 2024, the ForestWell final conference of the project took place online and was attended by 40 participants from Iceland, Ireland, Finland, Bali, and Slovenia. An opening welcome by Laura Magan (MMS) was followed by a presentation on the ForestWell project, its objectives, and results. Aine Hamill (EUEI) gave an overview of the project website and introduced the AR environment - a virtual walk through the forest. Laura Magan presented online training and examples of practice, and Anu Nylund (MOOD) concluded the first part with an overview of the network and tree planting events.

This was followed by a short lecture by an expert from Slovenia, Andrej Breznikar, from the Slovenian Forest Service.

The participants were then arbitrarily divided into small groups to discuss online training and piloting. In Slovenia, 72 students and seven teachers were involved in piloting and highly appreciated the training. More than 70% of participants agreed that the training course was feasible in practice.

One of the most visible results of the project is undoubtedly the planting of trees: a total of 500 trees have been or will be planted.
